
Here are some doodles I scribbled while listening to
Fiona Raby speak tonight. Where relevant, I have linked the drawings to the work she was discussing while I was drawing that particular doodle.
Fiona said that people are complex and contradictory, very unlike current design aesthetics (The White Box) and digital ideals. We are hiding from the electromagnetic, and she is very attracted to the world of the irrational and the space for mis(was it representation I forgot the exact word). She mentioned that her work is critical design (bill coined it dialectical objects) meant to move debates from the philosophers to the consumers, through te process of "productizing" ideas.
