I must say it was refreshing to just look at cool stuff this evening. It started when Chris Mendoza showed me that if you get rid of the background and then overlay a 20 alpha black rectangle instead, you get some crazy alpha matrix trail action.

There's nothing to say about that but "cool," and that is all it needs.

And, you know, that sorta relates to Marie Sester this morning. Her reaction to InfoBreath was much more visceral than Joachim Sauter's. Both were incredibly helpful;

and moved on mostly to the aesthetics. Suggested using reddish or orange breath that is filtered to blue by the plant. Also gave me the idea of a breath activated and very focused smoke-machine for the substrate (damn I love that word!).

Which reminded me of my quote that "in theory, communism works" which means don't get so carried away by theory that you fall down on the application. So, now that I have the concept of a good concept down, I think I will focus on making this thing really beautiful.

And then, once it doesn't need a concept anymore cuz its just so dang cool, then apply the concept.

Did I mention Chris Mendoza yet? Holy plugged in! He sure is making this learning (and doing) process much speedier and twistier.
