Lessons from midterm crit:

As always, simplify when speaking.

The infoBreath is a different project from the Mobile Unit. The approach is different, the mood is different, and though they come from the same well (TheySaySmall), infoBreath is about our world, not theysaysmall, while the Mobile Unit is about the theysaysmall world, and focuses more on cultural mistakes and a fun explorative environment than on our real world and our hertzian emissions.

So, where did the information ecosystem come from? Barcelona, 2000-something. London, 2000-something. How do we move our camera? What is our camera? It can be found in society as a medium. A living breathing Internet. The blood that runs through the veins of the internet is our own thoughts and emotions.

So, this came from the idea of a social, living meta-creature of an internet. It has become a window into the unseen, our thoughts floating in the air. A way to visualize the internet that is flowing like the wind around us.

It has lost its living aspect and gained footing in our Hertzian world.

Perhaps I should think about how I can make it living again...

Also, it is not about pollution, it is about symbiosis, and about the lives and hopes and thoughts and dreams that we pour into the internet. My wiki is part of my mind; I would rather cut off the tip of my pinky than lose my wiki, at this point. That's good to remember. This is about uniting with our environment, trying to understand the information that passes between us and plant. The plant is not a filter; it is a responder, engaged in a conversation. A colleague. A conspirator. A fellow member of this world depending on, dipping into, and contributing to the information ecosystem.

Remember the echo of a human thought passed through a plant...

And also, the internet's content is not invisible, so it is specifically the data that flows through the air that is important...

I need to think in detail on those last two points.

For now, I have a bevy of related work to look into, and the worry that it still resembles Chris Mendoza's way too much. As he said, we'll be trading lots of code so I guess I don't have to worry toooo much (but still have to, to a degree)
