So, when I was down in Penland I heard a CD that had “5$” printed on it, emblazoned If it aint cheap, it aint punk. It is beautiful and positive stuff and really touched me and you should check it out.

My favorites were Defiance, Ohio’s raucous happy GCD Tanks, Tanks, Tanks, Kimya Dawon/ Antsy Pants’s wanderlust-inducing Amazing Kids, and Paul Baribeau’s very personal Like Bells, or something, which all sit together on the Plan-it-x sampler. You can buy all their stuff for five dollars each right here. Do it. Now. You will be a better person.
