Impression of a Falling Movement

I will prevent a tree from losing its leaves this autumn. As the leaves change color and fall from the tree, I will use a hot glue gun to stick them back on their branches. Since establishing a local presence to create a neighborhood story is part of the goal of this project, I will sometimes sleep under the tree, or in the tree, and will experiment with different methods for collecting the leaves: a net, boxes, sticky-paper, helpers. Much of the time I will simply wait under the tree, catching the leaves and replacing them as they fall. I will document this process obsessively, on video and, perhaps, by dating each leaf as I re-attach it to the tree.
