They Say Small is a journey that explains new media theories through fiction, both
webbed and
more traditionally.
It is a story in which disembodied people retreat through time to reclaim their lost physicality, and on the way explores the different definitions of reality, ideas of authenticity and rigour of process necessary to make such a journey. But most of all, it is meant to be fun, as all too often I let theory overshadow application. And we all saw what that did to communism.
They Say Small Installation is this journey in "real" life, a place where people can explore the remnants of these people's journey, and perhaps embark on the journey themselves.
World of Awe is still online, and just as scattered towards a goal as
Robert A. Small, but the unified desktop mixed with unexpected reactions makes it much more fun and cohesive to explore.
